SpurTrail

With this Playable we want to collect early feedback on the horse riding mechanics for our game SpurTrail. What you find right now in the Playable is a "Gym" level with input instructions, and the option to go to a second level where you can try out the movement in a timed race challenge. 

Our goal with SpurTrail is to make a short linear, single-player, horse-riding game about going camping in the Scandinavian wilderness. You play as a young man who feels like he’s drowning from expectations, that his whole life is already mapped out, so he abandones his move to college to instead go on an adventure with a neglected rescue horse. Together you navigate roads and trails to get to your nightly camping spot, where cooking, music and chatting will round off the day in this relaxing modern day Western narrative.
